Finduddannelse.dk Sustainability Scholarship is open to students who are studying or want to study courses related to the field of sustainability. If you are an international student, you can apply for this scholarship irrespective of your country of residence.
Finduddannelse.dk Sustainability Scholarship Description:
Finduddannelse.dk, a Danish platform for lifelong learning, offers students from all over the world a sustainability scholarship who have applied (or will apply) for a master’s degree that can help them make the world more sustainable. The master’s degree in sustainable development can be taught in any language and anywhere in the world.
The scholarship is awarded for the fall/autumn 2021 semester.

Finduddannelse.dk Sustainability Scholarship General Eligibility Requirements
Applicants of all nationalities are eligible to complete their master’s degree anywhere in the world. However, you must explain why you chose your university and country when you apply for this scholarship.
To be eligible, you must have applied for or applying for a master’s degree in a university to study a sustainability-related program starting in the fall semester of 2024 and must meet the requirements for admission to graduate school or university, including having a valid university undergraduate degree, and meets the language requirements of the program. If applicable, you must also be eligible to receive an appropriate study visa for the program you wish to study. Online degrees are not permitted.
Ideally, you should be a determined person to take action. For example, someone who is ideal would be considering starting a master’s degree that can help mitigate the effects of climate change. You should be someone:
- With a global vision and interest in the fight against climate change, be it in the areas of clean energy, biology, architecture, business, economy, health, agriculture, law or political science, journalism, anthropology or another relevant area.
- Motivated and inspired to change the world positively and
- Who has high academic performance with grades to demonstrate this?
- Participation in sustainable initiatives and projects (volunteering, work, etc.) and
- Who likes to take responsibility and determine to effect changes.
Finduddannelse.dk Sustainability Scholarship Benefits
The scholarship can be up to €5,000 to cover the tuition fees.
Application Guidelines:
To be considered, you must submit your full application by April 12, 2021. Applications must be submitted in English or Danish. In the application you have to submit a short essay (500-700 words) on the following questions:
- What motivated you to choose this special study program?
- How will your program help combat/mitigate the effects of climate change?
- In your opinion, how are education and the fight against climate change in general?
