In addition to the requirements for first-year and transfer applicants, here are some additional steps for students attending secondary or post-secondary institutions outside the United States.

English language proficiency is required for all foreign applicants from non-English speaking countries. You have met the English language proficiency requirements and can be accepted without an English language proficiency test if:

Attended at least three years of high school in the United States and has completed or will complete it.

SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (EBRW) 560 or higher or ACT English 21 or higher. SAT and ACT scores are valid for five years from the test date.

You have an associate degree (AA, AS or AGS) from the University of Texas,
Pass ENGL 1301 and ENGL 1302 with a grade of B or better in both courses
Is core complete

Completion of 42 or more transferable credits from a US institution,
Completion equivalent to ENGL 1301 and ENGL 1302 with a grade of B or better in both courses,

Complete the recommendation from the counsellor (via the common application).
Complete a teacher recommendation letter (optional through the common application).
Answer the University of Dallas Member Questions (via shared app).
