What is Padho Pardesh Scheme- Interest Subsidy Scheme- Minority?
This scheme was started to encourage meritorious students belonging to the economically weaker minority community. This will provide the students with an interest-subsidy inform of Indian scholarships to study abroad for pursuing higher education abroad.

What is ESSO-NCESS Junior Research Fellowship?
This Junior Research Fellowship is an award for eligible applicants who want to get a doctoral degree and postdoctoral research in the areas of earth system sciences. Junior Research Fellowship applies to CSIR-UGC NET-JRF qualified candidates and for candidates having DST INSPIRE Fellowship.

The ESSO National Centre for Earth Science Studies is giving this scholarship to focus on four core research areas viz. Crustal Processes, Coastal Processes, Atmospheric Processes, and Natural Resources and Environmental Management.

Interviews are going to be held two times or three times a year, usually after the date of declaration of NET CSIR-UGC results.
