Since the start of the UICC Technical Fellowships in 1976, they have helped develop the professional abilities of over 4,000 UICC Fellows from more than 110 countries by facilitating appropriate person-to-person training in particular areas relevant to enhancing cancer control activities, including clinical management, conducted in the student’s home countries.
The UICC Technical Master’s fellowships aim to propagate the international exchange of knowledge, develop skills in cancer control, including its prevention and treatments, and allow for the acquisition of sophisticated diagnostic and therapeutic clinical expertise that will be applied in the fellows’ organizations upon their return to their home country.
The fellowship is offered for a Research Fellow/ Scientist degree in Etiology, Cancer Prevention, Diagnosis, Early Detection, and Prognosis Treatment, Survivorship, Cancer Control, and Research about Health Policy and Outcomes Advocacy.
